Expanded support for businesses and workers in Canada

With surges in variants of COVID-19 continuing, the Canadian government is adding more wage and rent subsidies as well as payment deferments and increased business incentives. While this is definitely needed, it’s important to note what some are saying about this new help. The Toronto Star reports that some business owners would rather see small business support grants, which they claim would be a more effective way to help businesses end debt.
