Learning some big lessons

It’s not unreasonable to assume that even C-suite leaders can change and grow in the business world. That’s definitely true with Greg Hicks, the CEO of Canadian Tire Corp. He told Institutional Investor that his biggest lesson during 2021 was to have a clear purpose, despite having employees now working mostly remotely.

“This fundamentally changed how we work together, and I’m very impressed with how our culture has evolved,” Hicks said. “We’re faster, more agile, and more collaborative than ever before.”
