Canada leads UK and US in certain credit card parameters

November 10, 2021by Mark Ball

There are some interesting insights into credit card use of Canadians from a recent report from FICO. This survey of credit card use and spending in the US, UK and Canada shows that the latter has the highest proportion of consumers spending more than their limit, despite having the second-highest limits between the three countries. This may be due to the way the Canadian government does business, including its larger stimulus and longer payment holidays from the country’s banks.
