Canadian business leaders’ thoughts after election

With Prime Minister Justin Trudeau reelected, business owners are now hoping he and the government will focus more on pandemic recovery. A story in the Times Colonist quotes several business leaders who probably feel the same way some of you do. They want the government to help smaller-to-midsized businesses with continuing challenges from the pandemic, including wage subsidies and rent relief for businesses that are still struggling.
